Alan Davis Timberlake, 57 passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2022. He was born June 16, 1964 in Lafayette, Indiana to Herbert A. and Patricia ( nee Felty) Timberlake.
Alan grew up in Lexington, Ohio and graduated from Lexington High School where he played football. He went on to play semi-pro as a linebacker. He worked at GOJO Industries for nine years as an Integration Engineer Senior Manager. While Alan loved football, his main priority was his wife and children. He was a fierce protector of his family. He was funny and full of wit and always made you feel good to be around him. He took great pride in his family with a heart of gold and his giving nature.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother-in-law, Denhem S. Affolter. He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Affolter) Timberlake; son, Maverik (Rebecca); daughter, Madison; mother, Patricia; sisters, Cindy (Joe) Wendling of Worthington, Ohio, Deb (Tom) Georgantis of Worthington, Ohio; brother, Brian (Lynn) of Fort Mills, S.C; five nephews; one niece and mother and father-in-law, Greg (Ivy) Affolter and Michelle (Wes) Hull.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Private inurnment will take place at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
