Barbara J Sombati
July 19, 1932 — August 24, 2014
Barbara was born in Rhodell, West Virginia on July 19, 1932 and moved with her family
to Akron in the 1950's.
A devout member of the Akron Baptist Temple, she greatly enjoyed volunteering in the
nursery and socializing on long walks in the neighborhood around the church where she lived.
Preceded in death by her parents, Evan and Emma (Waycaster) Maynard; loving husband, Ronald;
brothers, Evan and Richard; sisters, Rose and Peggy, she is survived by her son; Mark (Lori) Sombati; grandsons, David (Monique) and Christopher Sombati; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Minton and Julie Grimm.
Friends may call from 5-8 pm Thursday, August 28 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, August 29, 2014 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
