Bernice L (Hines) Payne

Bernice L. Payne, age 91, of Monterey, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord, January 31, 2015, at the Standing Stone and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, Tennessee. Bernice was born on November 25, 1923, in Barnesville, Ohio, to the late George and Marie Long Hines.
She was a retired Personal Banker working with FirstMerit Bank in Akron, Ohio an was a Methodist in Faith.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Eric Payne; sister, Ilene Kunkler and son-in-law, Larry Whitmyer; she leaves behind her children; Fran Whitmyer of Monterey, Tenn, Penny (Eddie) Niebruegge of Ft. Myers, Fl, and Dr. Thomas (Elaine) of Wadsworth, Ohio. She will also be missed by her eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Office Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Roger Burks officiating. Friends may call one half hour before service time.
