Betty J. Stanley, 92, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, April 21, 2021. She was born May 22, 1928 in Colver, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (nee Chamberlain) Lucas.
She worked at Goodyear Aerospace and McNeal's as a File Clerk. She was a graduate of West High School and a member of Firestone Park Presbyterian Church where she was a Firestone Primetimer.
Preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert. She is survived by her son, Robert Jr.; daughter, Janette Honeycutt; grandchildren, Lisa (Jim) Wiggins, Rob (Kim) Stanley, Jason (Monica) Honeycutt, Jon Honeycutt and Tara Yeater; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Frances Fischer officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
