After a long and brave battle, Beverly Jarman ended her battle on February 9, 2023. Born on November 23, 1959, in Yuba City, California to Shirley (Grunow) and Eugene Jarman Sr. Bev was raised in Ogden, Utah where she graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1978.
In her 20's Bev moved to Barberton, Ohio where she raised her two children. Barberton became Bev's home; she spent Friday nights attending football, basketball, and baseball games supporting the Magics. Many people may remember Bev from the various places she was employed. She worked the concession stand at the Rollercade, assisted at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, and was a long-time cook/teacher at Kids World Daycare.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Eugene Jarman Sr., siblings, Randy and Brenda Jarman; special family members, Robert Sigmund Sr. and Mark Norman, and best friend Cathy Dantz. She is survived by her children, Michele (Charles) McBride and Matthew Jarman; grandsons, Robert and Brian McBride; siblings, Debra (Jay) Mikkelson, Eugene (Vickie) Jarman Jr., Brian (Christine) Jarman, Peggy Parsons, Kimberly Jarman, Jennifer Jarman; special siblings, Cynthia Sigmund, Keith (Lisa) Norman, Kent Norman, and Gabriele Norman; many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A celebration of Bev's life is being held at Allenside Presbyterian Church 410 Rexford St., Akron, Ohio 44314 on Saturday, March 4, 2023, the family will receive guests beginning at 11 am with a service at 12pm.
