Brian D. Scarbrough

It is with great sadness that we announce Brian David Scarbrough, 75, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 after complications with lung cancer.

David was born on April 21, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to the late Gerald and Dorothy (nee Hunt) Scarbrough. After graduating from Garfield High School in 1967, he heroically served our country in the United States Army during Vietnam. David then went on to drive for McLean Trucking and later worked with his father for Reiter Dairy before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Scarbrough and his wife, Debbie, who passed away recently. David is survived by his daughters, Vicki (John) and Natalie (Dakota); grandchildren, Ryann (Keith), Tara and Emily (Matt); great grandchildren, Charlie, Liam, Lilliana and Naomi; as well as beloved nephew and friend, Mike (Wendy).

Private services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your local VA Medical Center in memory of Brian.
