Carol J (Szekely) Carillon

Carol Jean Carillon (Szekely), 72, of Akron passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on August 30, 2017. Born in Barberton, Ohio on July 9, 1945 to the late Steve and Irene Szekely. Carol lived in Akron her entire life.

She devoted her entire life to her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carol loved doing crafts, going out to dinner and cooking for the family.

Preceded in death by her brother, Steve Szekely; she leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 53 years, Paul "Jack" Carillon; daughter, Paula McAvinew; sons, Paul (Kim), Robert (Tish) and Michael (Jenni) Carillon; grandchildren, Andrew (Rachael), Shawn, Justin, Brandon, Katelyn, Nicholas, Noah, Michael, Britney Carol and Milee. She will also be missed by her two puppies that she loved Max and Ben.

Friends may call Friday September 1, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday September 2, 2017 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Gray officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
