Claudia C Carr

Claudia C. Carr, 62, passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 31st, 2020. Claudia was born June 4th, 1958 to the late John & Sarah Stefanov in Akron, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Michael and sister, Maia Briggs. Her legacy is survived by her two sons, Michael and Matthew Carr; grandchildren, Mikaela and Cormac; sister, Melissa Wood.

A testament to her remarkable character, Claudia's steadfast dedication and love for her children guided her through life as she overcame enormous adversity, while always maintaining a positive outlook. A pillar of unyielding strength and resolve, she was a true inspiration to her family, friends, and anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know her. She was always the kindest spirit, someone who never hesitated to do anything she could to help anyone in need. She had a grace, charm, and quick wit that made it impossible not to love her, and those lucky enough to have known her personally will forever remember her beautiful smile, impeccable sense of humor, and the resounding warmth of her heart.

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the amazing staff at ManorCare of Barberton, who treated her like family. The bonds she developed with her nurses were truly genuine, a blessing she cherished through her final years. We will forever be grateful for the wonderful care Claudia received.

Private memorial services will be held by the family.
