Coby B Cummins

Coby B. Cummins, 44 , of Akron went home to be the Lord, March 27, 2015. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee but raised in Oakland, California where he lived most of his life until moving to Ohio in 1998.

Coby had a passion for making music and was known as DJ 11 and was a loyal Raiders fan. He was a great father to his children and was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother's, Thomas Cummins and Arnold James, he is survived by his lifetime companion of 19 yrs., Sherri Cummins; mother, Shirley Smith; father, Johnny Cummins; children, Dominic, Cassius and Kayla Cummins; brother's, Barry and Derick and a host of other family members and friends.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Heaven Gates Community Church, 2095 Romig Rd, Akron, Oh 44320  with Rev. Gregory Lee officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions ,may be made to Schlup Pucak Funeral Home.
