Cody L Styer, 37, of BARBERTON passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2023. He was born on January 29, 1985 in Ravenna, Ohio.
Cody grew up in Brimfield and was a graduate of Field High School. He absolutely loved his family, especially all the little ones. He loved being a husband, son, brother, daddy and uncle Cody aka "CoCo". He loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle were his three favorite hobbies. He recently became his son's wrestling coach, and he loved every minute of it. He was a friend that would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.
Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helene and Roland Wildman, Sr., Donna and Eugene McPeak, Sr; nephew, Tristin McPeak; aunt, Beverly Valarinos; father-in-law, Scott Crouse and uncle, Robert Heckert. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rachel; children, Grace Styer, Cody Styer, Jr., Braylen Massey, Lillian Styer and Jacob Styer; parents Kathryn and Eugene McPeak Jr.; stepmother, Terri Styer; mother-in-law, Christine (Ted) Gradisher; grandparents, John and Joanne Valarinos; brothers, Jack (Amanda) Styer, Adam Styer, Roland (Rachelle) Wildman Jr., James (Jessika) McPeak, William (Ariel) Styer and Eugene (Angela) McPeak III; sisters, Kerry (Chris) Borne, Ashley Leitz, Jennifer Ball and Tamara Styer; brother-in-law, Scott (Stephanie) Crouse; nieces and nephews, Sydney, Mia, Aleksandria, Charles, Aliyah, Christopher, William, Caiden, Jesse, Jonathan, Anthony, Damien, Jasmine, Destiny, Georgia, Christopher, Riley, Zoey, Will, Emily and Brianna.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at the New Apostolic Church, 3541 Elm Dr., Stow, Ohio 44224. Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church with Priest Greg McClelland officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time on Saturday. Burial to follow at Restland Cemetery. Cody's family invites those in attendance to return to the church for a time of food and fellowship following services at the cemetery.
