Darlene J (Baker) Smith

Heaven gained a beautiful soul on December 29, 2020 when Darlene J. (Baker) Smith, 57, of Akron passed away unexpectedly and joined her two sons and granddaughter in their forever home.

Darlene was a unique person with a quick wit and a hilarious sense of humor. She loved talking to people and was always willing to lend a hand. She had a loving and caring heart. Despite the heartache and physical pain she endured in life, she faced it with strength and courage and always made sure her family and friends were taken care of and loved.

Waiting to greet her were her sons, Dennis and Darren, her precious granddaughter, Brianna; parents, Lois and Leon Baker; sister, Kate Wensel; brother, Leon and father-in-law, Eugene Smith. She leaves behind her husband, Dennis to cherish their memories; grandson, Dallas whom was her pride and joy; Megan Furr that she loved like a daughter; sister, Brenda (Dirt) Swain; loving mother-in-law, Lois Smith; brother-in-laws, Donny (Debi) and Danny Smith; many nieces, nephews and family members; bestest friend, Susie and her "orphans".
