David G Abdallah

David G. Abdallah Sr., of Green, age 77, died November 19, 2024 after a lengthy battle with heart and lung issues. David was born on December 2, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the Rev. George and Jewell Billups Abdallah.

He was a graduate of Garfield High School, class of 1964, as well as the University of Akron. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He retired from The Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and was also a licensed real estate broker and certified residential appraiser. David was an avid golfer and dedicated fan of the Guardians, Cavs, Browns (sometimes) and Buckeyes. He was a long-time member of Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, serving as both a deacon and elder.

Surviving David are his wife of 55 years, Judy, daughter, Amy Abdallah-Vandiver and husband John and son, Dave Abdallah, wife Kim and their sons, Alex and Jason.

A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, 275 S. Firestone Blvd, Akron, Ohio 44301. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
