David M Blamble

David M. Blamble, 81, of BARBERTON went home to be with the Lord, June 19, 2023 at Pleasant View Health Care Center. He was born October 17, 1941 in Akron, Ohio to the late Clarence and Edith (nee Harper) Blamble.
He served in the United States Coast Guard and then the reserves, moving on to working for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for over thirty-five years. He was an avid member of AA for over forty years, serving as a mentor for various recovering members. Living a life of service to the group.
David was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond; sister, Barbara and daughter-in-law, Lynn. He leaves behind his children, Keith, Price (Tina), Desra (Joyce); grandchildren, Bryan, Bobbi, Rusty (Alicia), Emily and Olivia; great grandchildren, Jacob, Alyson, Jonathan, Abigail, Tru and Chase; sister, Betty (Melvin), brother-in-law, James; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 10 am-12 pm Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Ray officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
