David Lee Holliday

David "Doc" Holliday, 65, of Akron went home to be with the Lord May 19, 2014. A life resident of the area David was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a member of The Church on The Boulevard and past Vice President of The Kenmore Board of Trade. He loved sports and enjoyed coaching baseball, softball and basketball.

Preceded in death by his father; Gene Mapes, grandson; Hezakiah and brother; Trevor Holliday, he is survived by his mother; Dorothy Snyder, son; Justin (Marie) of Canal Fulton, daughters; Abby Holliday of Canton, Amee (Dean) Moskos of Wadsworth and Beth Ann Holliday of Texas. He will also be missed by eight grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3-5 pm Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 5 pm with Pastor Ron Mohlmasters officiating. Private inurnment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
