Dean R Flint

Dean R. Flint, 82, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, May 29, 2023. He was born in Burnsville, West Virginia on August 4, 1940.

He retired from Chrysler UAW as a machinist where his nickname at work was “Mountain Man” and was a veteran of the United State Marine Corps. He loved hunting, building dune buggies and his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mildred Yarosius; brother, Doug and sister, Stephanie. He leaves behind his beloved wife of thirty three years, Sylvia; son, Jack (Erica) Brill; daughter, Melissa (Jim) Patton, Tracy Taylor, Shannon (Darrell) Taylor; brothers, Steve (Diane) Yarosius, Kevin (Denise) Yarosius; brother-in-law, Cornel (Jill) Munteanu; sister-in-law, Erika Lawrence; cousins, Sharon (Stewart) Roberts. He will be missed by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
