Della Filsinger

Della Filsinger, 96, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, August 18, 2022. She was born in Dante, Virginia on June 29, 1926 to the late Gabor and Maria (nee Piskar) Farkas.
Della retired from JC Penny's as a salesclerk after twenty-five years of service. She was a very independent person and loved to shop with her daughter. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and
going to Aragon Ballroom in Cleveland to dance.
Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Tresa Taylor and Ann Kovacek; she is survived by her daughter, Connie Filsinger of N. Canton; son, David Filsinger of Stuart, FL and sister, Roseina Kovach.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
