Dolores Street

Dolores "Dee" Street, 83, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, November 23, 2016. She was a life resident of the area and retired as a food demonstrator for the ACME stores. Dee loved dogs, cats, flowers (especially roses) and was a bird watcher.

Preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Mary Zimmerman; beloved husband, Leroy; sisters, Bev Blackburn and Bernie O'Neil; she is survived by her daughters, Pat (Dennis) Nettle of Norton, Vicki (Ray) Adorni Jr., of Akron, Brenda (Jim) Darnell of Doylestown; sons, Dennis (Darlene), Ken (Linda) both of Portage Lakes and Vincent (Beth) Street of Barberton. She was a wonderful grandmother to eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her cat, Sammy.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at Cornerstone Free Methodist Church, 578 Killian Rd, where friends may call one hour prior to service time with Pastor Brenda Young officiating.
