Donald E. Peters, 55, passed away on Thursday, July 28th, 2016.
Donald was born to Donald and Marilyn (Fisher) Peters on May 7th, 1961. Donald was a lifelong resident of Springfield Township. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1979. He worked as an auto mechanic and as a firefighter/EMT for Springfield. He loved tinkering with tractors, camping, reciting a good "dad" joke, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his father, Donald John, he is survived by his mother, Marilyn (Ron) Hartley; his wife of 37 years, Lori; children, Dawn (Raymond) Incorvaia, Donald (Amanda) Peters, and Daniel (Alicia) Peters; grandchildren Danny, Rayme, and Dylan; siblings Edward (Donna) Peters, Jeff (Kathie) Peters, and Sheri (Pat) Boyd; and many other relatives.
A celebration of Donald's life will take place on Sunday, August 7th at Ellet Community Church located at 2700 Priscilla Ave. in Akron, Ohio from 2-6 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market Suite 108
