Donna L. Whitmire, 81, flew away in spirit on March 25, 2017 surrounded by loved ones after a long illness. Donna was born May 17, 1935 to the late Charles and Mary (Hamilton) Wilson.
Preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark David; brothers, James, Bob, David and William; sisters, Mary and Jeanne. Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 67 years, David E.; son, Ronald (Val); daughters, Sharon (Jim) Cicora and Shelley (Bob) Beavers; daughter-in-law, Verna (Murray) Whitmire; grandsons, David (Keshia), Matthew (Kim), Zachary Whitmire and Michael Beavers; beloved granddaughter, Michelle Beavers; most cherished, great-grandson, Logan Beavers.
Donna will be remembered by her family as everyone’s friend and a very giving person who enjoyed making others happy. Donna especially enjoyed the companionship of the Lady Bug Club members.
Private services have been held and internment has taken place at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
