Doris J. Buckbee, 61, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, June 13, 2024. She was born on March 25, 1963 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Olan and Mary (nee Chauncy) Prunty.
Before retiring, Doris spent fifteen plus years as a Deli Clerk at Acme Fresh Market. She loved staying in touch with her family and friends through Facebook, playing spades and watching her grandkids grow up. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, David; son, David; daughter, Misty; grandchildren, Kayden and Ajah; numerous family members and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
