Earsel D. Wagoner, 92, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, March 17, 2017. A life resident of the area, Earsel retired from PPG after 37 years service. He was a member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church and a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He enjoyed walking metro parks, feeding his birds and squirrels, attending Native American Pow Wow's and traveling with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Melva Wagoner, beloved wife, Marilyn; daughter, Debra Sullivan; brothers, Earl and Oren; sister, Viola Miller and sister-in-law, Gladys Wagoner; brother-in-law, Jack Miller; he leaves to cherish his memory, son, Alan Wagoner (Debbie); daughter, Janet Wagoner; son-in-law, David Sullivan; sister-in-law, Wanda Wagoner; grandchildren, David and Kelsey Hoefling; his support group and family friends, Rickie, Debbie, Barb, Sue and Beth.

The family would like to specially thank Summa at Home Hospice for the wonderful care given to Earsel.

Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home where friends may call one hour prior to service time. Rev. Randy May officiating. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery where Firestone V.F.W post #3383 will render Military Honors.
