Ed Sayre

Ed Sayre, 63, passed away June 22, 2016 after a battle with cancer.

Born in Akron, Ohio on October 14, 1952, he was a 63 year resident.  He graduated from Kenmore High School in 1970 and attended the University of Akron where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.  He worked for Chemstress Consulting Engineers in Akron.

Ed will be remembered for his caring and compassion for his family and others and his sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Eva, father, Richard.  He is survived by his brothers Kenneth of Akron and Richard (Linda) of Pendergrass, Georgia, nieces Trisha Savage of Rockford  Il, Kimberly Sayre of Miami, Fl,  nephew Kevin Sayre of Massillon, Ohio, many cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Mays officiating. Burial to be held at a later date. For those that wish, m emorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
