Elizabeth Ostronisky

Elizabeth Ostronisky, 95, of CANAL FULTON went home to be with the Lord, May 28, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to the late Steve and Katalin (nee Demeter) Dudas.

Elizabeth retired after sixteen and a half years’ service at Akron Porcelain. She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Queen of Heaven. She was involved in the Altar Society, Shut-in group, A.A.R.P and Tops #558. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. During the numerous times they would get together and play cards, she would always get caught trying to cheat.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George, grandson, Ryan; sisters,Mary, Margaret and Catherine; brother, Steve; brothers-in-law, Steve, Nate and Charles. She is survived by her son, George (Susan); grandchildren, Jennifer (Nate) and Lucas; great grandchildren, Sofia and Sadie and sister, Judy.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Friday May 31, 2024 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 Noon on Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2101 17th St SW, Akron with Fr. Thomas McCann officiating. Burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
