Florence E Guilliams (Baker) born September 2, 1922 in Virginia, went home to be with the Lord and her husband August 7, 2015. She peacefully passed away at her son's home surrounded by loving family.
Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years John; son, John (Butch); parents, Irene Brown and Louis Baker; brother Walter Baker; grandchildren, Shanet Cherry and Eric Guilliams; sister, Margaret and brother-in-law, Leon; survived by her children, Robert (Kim) Gulliams and Kathy (Jeff) Bohaychyk; grandchildren, Jocelyn, John (Katy), James, Daniel (Tabby) and Joseph (Heather) Guilliams, Kristen (George) Cada, Michael Dailey; great-grandchildren, Alisa, Christopher, Justin, Noah, Cooper, Eagan, Jeremy, Katelyn, Liliana, Ava and Xavier; her cat Alice, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was a life long member of Kenmore United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, her grandchildren, crocheting and activities in her church.
A loving note of appreciation and gratitude to her daughter-in-law Kim for her special love and care during her illness and also to caregiver Becky Ball for her tender loving care. Special thanks to Mariah DeSantis and Crossroads Hospice.
Friends may call from 11-1 Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Fryman officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. For those that wish, memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr, Suite E, Green, Ohio 44685.
