Frances J Chase

Frances J. Chase, 100, of Akron our "Centenarian Angel" went home to be with the Lord, December 3, 2021. She was born August 21, 1921, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Forrest and Jessie (nee McDonald) Young.

She was a member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church where she was still active and the oldest living member of the Church. She was a member of Naomi Chapter 47 O.E.S, Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and a sweetheart of Sigma Chi. She attended Miami University where she met the love of her life, Jack. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack; she leaves behind her children, Judi (Robert) Adam, Karen (Richard) Stokich and Jackie (Bill) Hoover; eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Borchering and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2021, at Firestone Park United Methodist Church, 250 N. Firestone Blvd Akron, Ohio 44301 with Pastor Sam Martin and Pastor Max Berry officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. THE FAMILY IS REQUESTING THAT YOU PLEASE WEAR A MASK. The Church will be live streaming the service on their Facebook page for those that can't be in attendance. Private inurnment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
