Frances Wojcik, 83, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord, March 27, 2018. Born on March 20, 1935 to the late Louis and Mary (Allison) Brennan in Akron, Ohio. She grew up in Kenmore and lived most of her life in Portage Lakes.
She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. She enjoyed being a volunteer at the BMX Track and the Tudor House. Frances enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, flowers and water skiing.
Preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; brother-in-law, Earl Horning, she is survived by her son, Stanley "Mike" (Kimberly) Wojcik; daughter, Mary (Duane) McCloud; grandchildren, Emma and Brennan Wojcik; sisters, Mary Brennan, Eleanore Horning, Judy (Dick) Johnson, Louis Brennan and Barbara (Bill) Brennan; brother, Bill (Julie) Brennan.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2101 17th St. SW Akron, Ohio with Fr. Jacob Bearer officiating. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
