Franklin E Bayless

Franklin E. Bayless, 76, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, July 28, 2023. He is reunited with his wife, Patricia who passed five days earlier on July 23, 2023. He was born September 11, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late Franklin and Lillie (nee Mogel) Bayless. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a proud American.

He was a loving and devoted, husband, father and mentor who passed the love of life, the outdoors, baseball, and football. Frank is survived by his son and daughter-in-law. He will be remembered for his passion, wisdom, and ability to always make us smile or laugh (especially when we weren’t supposed to). We are forever thankful to him for leaving our hearts full of lessons on how to love and protect one another.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the Funeral Home with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
