Garry T. Morgan, 67, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, July 24, 2022. He was born July 30, 1954 in Akron, Ohio to the late Thomas and JoAnn (nee Krummel) Morgan.
Gary retired from Barberton Hospital after many years in the maintenance department. He loved bowling, going to the zoo, watching football and baseball. He enjoyed picture taking and was a big movie "buff" especially when it came to Star Trek.
He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Jennifer, Krystle (Gary) Dillon, and Leslie Morgan (Will); brother, James; sisters, Linda Morgan and Pam (Mike) Smith; grandson, Jordan Dillon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, corner of Battles ave and 16th St. in Akron with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call one half hour before mass.
