George C. Vaughan Jr, 72, of CANAL FULTON went home to be with the Lord, April 2, 2021. He was born September 15, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the late George Sr. and Josephine (nee Hughey) Vaughan. He retired from ACME after 41 years service as a meat cutter.
George was Past Master of Victory Lodge # 649 F & AM, a member of AASR Valley of Akron and the Tadmor Shrine, The Directors Staff, and President of Canton and Massillon Transportation Unit.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother; sisters and grandson. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine; son, George C. III (Kelly); daughters, Billie Jo and Melissa; brother, Haven Sr.; sister, Donna Overfield and four grandchildren.
A FAMILY ONLY MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD 11 a.m Saturday, April 10, 2021. The services will be live streamed for those that would like to be apart of the service at https://meet.google.com/srx-jymr-igg. For those that wish, memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospital.
