Helen B. Brickley, 91, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord, July 24, 2018. Born August 7, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to the late Roy and Mary Wiley. She was a life resident of the area.
Helen spent 23 years at JC Penny in sales and was a former member of the Akron Baptist Temple. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a devoted Christian and a gift to us all.
Preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband whom she was married to for 43 years Richard Brickley; step-mom, Dora Bella Forester and sister, Aline Stewart. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Rich (Betty) and Rex Brickley; daughter, Darlene (Lee) Dazey; grandchildren, Sean (Liz) Brickley, Angie Thompson, Janine (Bryon) Jones, Rex W. Brickley, Kellie Brickley and Kendra Brickley, Joe (Abby) Hillrich, Scott (Erin) Dazey, Angel (Dominic) Marinello, Shea (Robert) Meador; great grandchildren, David, Drew, Austin, Kyleigh, Sophia, Josiah, Joshua, Isaiah, Zachariah, Zephania, Roman, Lorenzo, Giovanni, Jaide, Alexis, Samantha, Nathan and Jaxson; brothers, Bill (Pat) and Jack (Peggy) Wiley.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd Akron. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Funeral Home with Pastors Scott Campbell and Joe Hillrich officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
