James N. Duke, 74, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, July 17, 2021. He was born on December 8, 1946 to Willie and Dorothy (nee Demoss) Duke.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for many years at B&W and ServiceMaster. He graduated from Kenmore High School class of 1964 and was a member of the American Legion Post #566.
Preceded in death by his father; daughter, Colleen Lynn; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jerry; he leaves behind his mother, Dorothy; sons, Michael and Jim; daughters, Megan (Chris), Kelly (Dan), Candace (Justin) and Colleen; brother, William (Margaret) and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron with Pastor Ed Graves officiating.
