James V Spencer

James “Jimi” Spencer passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2016.

Jimi was born on January 11, 1964 in Akron, OH and was a 1982 graduate of Kenmore High.  He studied auto collision repair at the Denver Automotive and Diesel College, becoming the owner-operator of Green Collision.  An avid car aficionado, Jimi especially loved Corvettes, building two of them.  If he was not seen riding his Harley around town, he was perfecting the art of smoking ribs, sharing his hospitality with many family and friends.  Jimi was also a gun enthusiast, collecting

He is preceded in death by his son Christian and father James Kiser.  He is remembered by loving wife Sherry, son Sebastian, daughter Stefanie, grandson Anthony, parents Larry and Mary Spencer, brothers Larry (Marie) Spencer and Karl Spencer, sisters Marla (Michael) Dakes, Misty  Smead and Paula (Jon) Winslow, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A service will be held on January 30, 2pm at Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home 788 Kenmore Blvd. Akron, OH 44314.  A celebration of life will immediately follow from 3-8pm at 2727 Manchester Rd.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made at any Key Bank.
