James Ross “JR” Steven, age 74, passed away on Thursday, January 16 after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born July 31, 1939 in Akron Ohio to the late George and Agnes Steven. He resided most of his life in the Akron area, moving to Carrollton, Ohio in 2011 .He was retired from Firestone Tire and Summit County.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rosalie (Starosta) Steven, Daughter Terry (John) Dendak and Son James (Debbie) Steven, two granddaughters and four great grandchildren all residing in Carrollton, Ohio.
Private burial to be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Monday January 20th 2014. Memorial contributions are welcome and should be mailed to: Hospice of Carroll County Trump Rd NW, Carrollton, OH 44615.
