James S. Stewart, Jr., 93, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, November 1, 2013. Jim was an Elder and a Deacon with Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, a member of the 'Tuesday Guy's ", Akron Lodge #83 F& A.M. and the Firestone V.F.W #3383.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; James and Marion Brodock Stewart, sister; Evelyn Woodrum; he leaves behind his loving wife; Virginia "Ginny"; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 pm Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Firestone Park Presbyterian Church, 275 S. Firestone Blvd, Akron, OH 44301 with the Rev Katy Yates Brungraber officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon until time of service. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. For those that wish, memorials may be made to the church.
