James Zenner,78, of Akron went home to be the Lord, on Sunday May 1, 2016. He was employed by Local Union 894 and held memberships in the following organizations, Eagles 555, the local Moose and V.F.W.. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa and son Jimmy; he is survived by his wife of 50 years Flora; daughters, Janet Smycz of Chicago, Denise Baker (Michael), Linda Wellman (Paul) and Patty Baker (Scott); sons, Donald Cain (Angela), Keith Cain (Kelly), and Scott Stratton of North Carolina; granddaughter Miranda Zenner who he raised along with 15 other grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Friends may call TONIGHT from 5-8 p.m. at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where funeral services will be held 7:30 at the Funeral Home with Elder John Tuggle officiating.
