Joann Hall, 80, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, March 7, 2021. She was born November 4, 1940 in Akron to the late Merle and Ilene (nee Eller) Carpenter. She retired from the Red Roof Inns as a maid.
She loved to clean! Joann was a very selfless and amazing woman. Her family was her life, heart and soul. She was always there for them, lending a helping hand, hugs and so much love. She was full of joy and always smiling. Joann would help out so many friends and total strangers if they needed help. She would go without to give too others. She was always on the go and had the energy of the "Energizer Bunny". She had the biggest heart and touched so many lives. Joann loved to dance and always told us "I may be old, but I can still dance". We love you more.
Thanks to the Ohio Living Hospice for their superior service and caring staff, especially nurse Tracy.
