Joanne V Ryan

JoAnne V. Ryan, 76, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, November 23, 2018. A life resident of the area JoAnne was born on June 26, 1942 to the late Fritz and Rose (Leak) Volke.
Her passion was modeling, being an active member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church and volunteering at the Veteran's Administration Clinic in Akron.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack; brothers, Fred and Bob Volke; she leaves behind to cherish her memory, nieces and nephews, Patti Dugay (Joe Moore), Sherri Steiner, Bob (Ellen), Fritz (Lynn), Brad (Michelle) and Chris (Monica) Volke; numerous great nieces and nephews and special great niece, Jamie (Todd) Patrick who took great care of JoAnne.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Firestone Park United Methodist Church, 250 N. Firestone Blvd, Akron with Rev. Sam Martin and Rev. Max Beery officiating. Friends may call one hour to service time. Private burial will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
