John E Wilkinson

John E. Wilkinson, 87, of Cuyahoga Falls went home to be with the Lord, May 20, 2021. He was born July 25, 1933 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the
late Geo. and Ruth (nee Gudikunst) Wilkinson.
He retired From Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 34 years' service as an assistant manager in internal traffic. He attended Spicer Grade School
where he and his classmates would still have get togethers. He graduated from Central High School. John was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a longtime volunteer at City Hospital, Stan Hyett and the Hower House.
The family wishes the thank the doctors and nurses at Akron City Hospital in the Palliative Care unit for the wonderful care they gave to John.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his brother, David and sister-in-law, Betty Wilkinson; niece, Louann (Jeff) Vaughan and their children; best friend of eighty one years, Richard Wolfe of Payson, Arizona.
Per John's wishes no services will be held, and cremation will take place.
