Karen L Story

Karen L. Story, 58, lived in Akron Ohio passed away After fighting a short battle with cancer, November 28, 2023.

Karen was born on September 24, 1965. She was born on the Torrejon US Air Force base of Northeast Madrid, Spain. Karen spent most of her life in Alamogordo New Mexico. Karen was very unique. There’s no one quite like her. Karen graduated high school. She loved to waitress. Karen was just a free spirit who went where the universe took her. Karen collected antiques, she loved being in the company of friends and was always there when someone needed her.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, James E. Story and her mother, Sylvia Story (McClung), and also by her sister, Theresa Story and brother John Story. Karen had four siblings and was the youngest. She also had another sister who she is survived by Gwendolyn Gallegos and a brother, James story.

Karen was loved by so many but the one she loved the most and will be deeply missed by was her boyfriend, Jay Blakely. Karen also had three children, Devan Hillard, Baxter Jones, and daughter, Grace Jones. Karen was also a grandmother.

Karen touched many many lives, she had 3 very close friends Amanda Hodgkiss, Angela Meade, and Kayla Miller.
