Kathleen L (Layfield) Beall

Kathleen L. Beall, 92, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, August 30, 2014. Kathleen was a native of Gilmer Co. West, Virginia and moved to Ohio in the late 50's where she married her late husband, Elwood (Red) Beall. She was a member of Firestone Park United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Effie (Radcliff); son, James; daughter, Sandra Motz, son-in-law, Jack Motz, brothers, Lester, Denver and Robert Layfield; sister, Evaleen Davisson and great grandchildren, Colin and Mallory Major. She leaves behind her sons, Paul and Mark (Sherri) Beall; grandchildren, Don (Kim) Fish, Beverly Major, Cindy Motz, Andrew Beall and Brittany Beall; great- grandchild, Katy Major and other beloved siblings and family members.

Friends may call from 5-8 pm Friday, September 5 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Funeral Services will be held 10 am Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Funeral Home with Pastors Patricia Christ and Gene Speich officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
