Lawrence W Lowery

Lawrence "Bill" W. Lowery, 84, of BARBERTON went home to be with the Lord, April 24, 2020. Born on February 20, 1936 to the late Lawrence Sr. and Fransway (nee Thomas) Lowery in Akron, Ohio.

He was a veteran of the United States Marines and spent thirty six and a half years as a supervisor of Meter Readers for Ohio Edison. He was a member of Ohio Edison's Men's Club, Victory Lodge # 649 F & AM, A.A.S.R Valley of Akron, K.I.C.C, Tadmor Temple Shrine and Past President of Buckeye Cruisers Camping Club. He was a longtime employee for the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, William; beloved dog, Casey; he leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife Shirley; son, Thomas (Margaret) of Akron; daughter, Diane (Dan) Thornton of Everett, WA; daughter-in-law, Kathi; grandson, Tommy of Deerfield.

A drive by visitation will be held from 10-12 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home parking lot, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron.
