Linda A (Martin) Mears

Linda A. Mears, 67, of BARBERTON went home to be with the Lord November 26, 2019. She was born in Akron, Ohio on July 8, 1952 to the late Geconius "Jack" and Juanita (nee Johnson) Martin.
She loved to cook, spend time with her family (especially her grandchildren) and was a nurses aid
Preceded in death by her parents; significant other, Larry Adkins and sister, Doris (nee Martin) Nay; she leaves to cherish her memory her son, Chris; sister, Janet (nee Martin) (Michael) Odom; grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Taylor and Mikayla; great grandchildren, Elsie, Todd and Harper.
The family would like to thank Doctor Yoder and Oliverio and the Barberton Hospice for the wonderful, loving care provided to Linda.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Please join the family after the service to continue Celebrating Linda's life at the Bank Lounge, 1078 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. For those that wish, memorial contributions can be made to the family.
