Linda R Roney
January 22, 1945 — January 2, 2022
My momma, Linda Ruth Roney, left our worldly home on January 2, 2022, for the warm arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was 76.
Her life, rooted deeply in faith, was an incredible series of moments that seemed to be anchored to the help and care of others. She was the den-mother of our neighborhood, where all the kids came to my house to play with the “Cool Mom.” Her decision to become a licensed practical nurse ended up being a blessing at home. She was the primary care giver for my dad, Dean H. Roney Jr., as he fought multiple sclerosis for over 20 years until his passing in 2000.
Mom is survived by her only child, Dean H Roney III, her granddaughter, Lauren Terese Roney, and her brother, Buster Nace.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. TONIGHT at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Private family burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburgh. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army, 190 S. Maple St Akron, Ohio 44302.
