Lora M. Mote, 58, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, May 8, 2022. She was born April 30, 1964 in Akron, Ohio to James Mote and Constance Hall. She retired from Allside as a window maker after many years.
Lora was a very kind, giving and loving person. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking. Billiards, video games and watching scary movies were among her favorites.
Lora had a very fighting spirit as she battled four different cancers for nineteen years.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Paul Laney; she is survived by her mother, Connie Laney; sister, Lisa (Jim) Donaldson; niece, Nicole; aunt, Mary; cousins, Kimberly and Melanie and many friends.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place.
