Loretta Ann Linke, 51, passed away November 12, 2022 from complications of Lung Cancer. She was a beloved wife, mama, grandma, sister, aunt and friend to everyone in need.

Loretta was born December 18, 1970 in Akron, Ohio to the late James Moody II and Juanita (nee Huth) Moody. She spent many years of her life traveling and living in both Ohio and Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from Kenmore High School class of 1989. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science and Criminal Justice in 2014.

Loretta enjoyed the simple pleasures in her simple way of living. She enjoyed camping at the United Fellowship campground in Canal Fulton where she served as a Trustee, being outdoors, gardening and listening to the sounds of nature. Loretta was a creative person that enjoyed crafts, crocheting, the season of Christmas, ice cream, Bon Jovi, the fall season and she loved the snow and the way it glistened on the trees in the sunlight. She loved late night talks and understood life is too short and isn’t all that serious. She taught her kids some of the best lessons through her favorite movies, The Wizard of OZ and Hocus Pocus. She believed in living not just existing.

Preceded in death by her parents and sister, Michelle; she is survived by her loving husband of thirty two years, Mike; children, Autumn (Bobby), William (Dominiqua), Joshua (Destinee), Nicholas, Savanna Belle, Jalen, Ayden, Jesselle, Daria and Kymberleigh; grandchildren, Evelyn, Amoniee, William II and Leilani; sisters, Theresa (Tom) and Gayle (Dennis); brother, James III (Holly) and many nieces, nephews and friends that she loved dearly.

Loretta especially will be remembered for her beautiful heart, fiery spirit and believing in living and not just existing.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Schlup-Pucak & Wilson Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
