Madaline Thelma McCarthy Akron, OH. Madaline T. (Baker) McCarthy, born March 3, 1921 passed away July 23, 2014.

Madaline’s life was filled with a child-like innocence and a unique simplicity of spirit. Madaline was Rosy The Riveter at Goodyear Aerospace during World War II. She met her husband, Paul there. She was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Preceded in death by husband, Paul; her mother, Florence M. Baker in 1993 and her brother, Leonard in 2014. She is survived by daughter, Julia Jean Clinton and son-in-law, Wayne Clinton of The Villages, FL., two grandchildren, Sheila (Steve) Rega and Christopher (Diane) Clinton;
six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kimberly & Thomas Rega; Sarah, Beth & Anna Clinton

Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 am Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2101 seventeenth St SW Akron, with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating, Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
