Marcel P Duvall

Marcel P. Duvall, 74, of Akron went home to be with the Lord September 14, 2020. He was born December 9,1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Marcel and Ollie (nee Hayes) Duvall.

He was a life resident of the area and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Allenside Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder an office manager, a trustee with Allenside Athletic Club, a member of Firestone V.F.W. Post # 3383 where he was a Quarter Master and Adjutant, a member of A.F.O.P- Akron. He retired from Goodyear as a project manager after many years of service. He enjoyed country western dancing with Carolyn.

Preceded in death by his parents; son, Marcel; he is survived by his Beloved wife, Carolyn; step-son, Tony (Margaret) Aman; daughter, Kim Duvall-Lewis; step-daughter, Andrea Aman; sister, Phyllis Howren; Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m.- 1p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Allenside Presbyterian Church, 410 Rexford St. Akron, Ohio 44314. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. with Rev. Frances Fischer officiating. For those that wish, memorial contributions can be made to the Allenside Memorial Fund in Marcels name.
