Mary Drope

Mary Drope, 92, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord, August 7, 2015. Mary was a life resident of the area.
Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mary Varga; daughter, Christine Shearer; siblings, Irma Lynch, Velma Vargo, Louis Vargo and Joey Vargo; she is survived by her loving husband, Darwin; daughter, Denise (Bruce) Mangrum; grandchildren, Carolyn (Dustin) Powell, Vincent (Elizabeth) Triola, Shelly (Bob) Wedward, John (Charlene) Lansden and Michael Lansden; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Brodie Powell, Abbey Wedward; brother, Ernest Vargo.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd, Akron. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday at the Funeral Home with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Glendale cemetery.
