Maxine E. Wyant, 86, of Akron passed away peacefully with her family by her side Thursday August 17, 2017. Maxine was born in Spencer, West Virginia to the late Ota and Mary Miller on May 3, 1931.
She was excellent at crafts, never met a stranger and loved her family dearly.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur; daughters, Edith Wyant and Blandis Mowerly; brother, Dale Miller; sisters, Juanita Mills, Marilyn Lutartis and Delphie Miller; she leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Eddie (Linda) and Roger Wyant; daughters, Lucy (Bill) Walker, Dessie (Bill) Frogge, Nancy (Joe) Chrisman, Bonnie (Jeff) Mitchell, Kathy (Clarence) Pinkerton, Sherry (Paul) Oden; step-daughter, Deirdra (Jerry) Smith; seventy grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Bud, Jack, LeRoy, Elmer and Romie Miller.
Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Schlup Pucak Funeral Home, 788 Kenmore Blvd with Pastor Dewayne Ray officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to service time. Funeral services will also be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, 511 Church St S. Ripley, WV 25271 with Pastor Elmer Miller officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to service time. Burial to follow at the Miller Family Cemetery.
