Michael C. Pifer, 59, of Akron went home to be with the Lord, November 28, 2017. Born on September 12, 1958 to George and Mary (Prough) Pifer.
He was a graduate of Ellet High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Michael was a mechanic by trade, enjoyed cars and motorcycles.
Preceded in death by his father, George; nephew, Gary Knight; he is survived by his mother, Mary; sisters, Deborah Holmes, Alisa (Timothy) Prieb of Akron; brother, Joseph (Debbie) Pifer of Houston, TX.
A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 A.M. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2101 17th St, Akron with Fr. Michael B. Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
